SCCOG, founded in 1939, has supported the Olympic Movement for nearly a century. In recent years, the organization has worked tirelessly to bring the Games back to Los Angeles. These efforts were recently rewarded, with Los Angeles selected as host city for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Seth Makowsky is the CEO of Makowsky Group and Poison Pawn. It will be exciting for the LA Sports Council to follow and support its trajectory to the mainstream.”

“I’m excited to be a part of LA Sports Council’s and SCCOG’s ongoing journey of bringing exceptional sporting events to the area,” Makowsky said. “David Siegel’s passion for LA sports is inspiring and it’s an honor to be a part of the very bright future for sports in LA.”
